My name is Mr. Thayer. Preschool is a true adventure! Every day is a chance to try something new, do an old favorite, and to have fun. Students and teachers get to explore all areas of learning, and develop so many new skills. It is a year of incredible progress. We get to use our imaginations to create, solve problems, and figure out what we are interested in learning more about. Sometimes it can be messy, but that is often the fun part.
I have been teaching at Breck since 2001, and even went here as a student for a few years. I studied at the University of Minnesota for my undergraduate degree, and the University of St. Thomas for my graduate degree. Prior to Breck I taught in Taiwan for 6 years.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughters. My daughters are still too young for school, but they are busy Bridgetis happiest when she is outside or in water. Matilda is happiest when she gets to watch her big sister play.I love to read, travel, photography, try new recipes, and listening to music.
