Making Slime

The creation table was a busy place this morning making slime to put into our sensory table.

We decided to make a variety of slime with very simple ingredients: corn starch, shampoo (gel variety works best), a bit of water, and food coloring.

This recipe is often stickier than the one that uses liquid starch and glue, but it does not have any toxic chemicals.  We will have it in the room until it dries out.

This was a fun activity for practicing following directions, taking turns, and sometimes you just need to get a little messy.
