Emotion Portraits and Photography

We teamed up with the Upper School photography class this morning. They are currently working on a unit shooting portraits, and we needed about 10 different portraits of each student in the room!

The preschoolers worked with their photographer to create a poses to represent a variety of emotions.  We have continued our discussions on feelings and what they look like on someone's face. They have been learning how to name what they are feeling and recognizing how others are feeling.

Having these portraits will prove VERY helpful with a few projects we have coming up next week. This is just one example of how being on a p-12 single campus is an amazing tool to help students learn together.
