Highway 100 Commute Built in the Room

This morning during our open explore time several students decided to take our classroom blocks and make Highway 100 in our meeting space. They discussed their plan before they jumped into making the road. They included sound barrier walls and "the buildings that go by too quickly to see when there isn't a traffic jam."

Do we future civil engineers and city planners in our room?

  1. What a marvelous group of observant builders! They obviously have lots of Highway 100 experience!! I was left wondering if it made a difference if the kids were coming from the south or north?!?
